Everything You Need To Know Before Getting A Spray Tan

So you want the perfect tan but don’t have time to build it up before your trip abroad or special event. At Radiance London we don’t only offer UV tanning but also top of the line spray tan solutions. With our revolutionary spray tan machine in our Clapham South salon we can provide our customers with the perfect solution for their tanning needs.

To help our customers along the way we thought it would be helpful to answer some of our most common questions.

What should I do to prepare for my spray tan?

Well first of all we recommend that you shave or wax all appropriate areas before your session and leave enough time for your skin to heal fully. Then on the day leading up to your session we advise our customers to exfoliate their skin so that any dead skin is removed. This will result in a smoother all round finish to the spray tan with longer lasting results. Do not wear any oils, creams or deodorants before your session.

What should I wear for my spray session?

For the actual session you can wear as little as you want. On your way to and from the appointment we advise wearing loose clothing as the tanning solution can rub away for a short period after it is applied.

How long should I wait before showering?

We advise waiting four to six hours before showering but if you would like a more subtle tan it should be ok to shower an hour or so earlier.

How long will my spray tan last for?

Depending on the types of activity you are doing and how frequently you shower and scrub your skin it is likely that your spray tan will last for 5-7 days.

I have an event on Saturday, when should I have my spray tan?

We usually advise having your spray tan one or two days before the event that you are attending or on the day or the day before your holiday.

At Radiance London we offer a number of products to help with your spray tan pre and post care so that you can maximise your spray tan session and prolong the effects for as long as possible.
