Remember: Keeping your skin silky smooth and healthy will help your skin absorb the UV light, this will make it twice as effected than skin which is a lot dryer. Dryer skin will not be able to absorb the UV rays, this is due to the skin reflecting the UV light.
Please protect your eyes, salons will provide you with special goggles. These will have a broad-spectrum protection towards both UVA and UVB rays.
The question which everyone questions is, when is the best time to shower? It is better to do this before your tanning session. When applying your tanning lotions this needs to be done on freshly washed skin in order for you to receive all the benefits. Also for those of you who prefer to use lotions with a hint of bronzing, the cream needs to be left on your skin for at least 4 hours in order for you to receive optimum benefits, so we say shower before your session and say hello to that healthy, prolonged tan.
